Studio open days at HARWOOD KING FINE ARTS , by HarwoodKing on Nov 22, 2007 10:43:11 GMT 1, We should have his new print there which will be on general release after the open days, and I hope to be working the etching press on one of his drawings for release later in the New Year.
As a studio working with and for artists for the last 25 years but hidden behind the scenes of main stream publishers we are keen to show people what goes into making an original print. We don't just press a button on a machine. Over the years the record for the amount of work going into one of our productions was 6 months using 95 colours hand silkscreened. The edition was 500 in length produced for one of the big US publishers. By the time the last colour was run the edition was sold out. Quentin
