What on earth is this? Any suggestions..., by ray on Dec 8, 2007 14:30:10 GMT 1, All I could find:
Noospheworldan image that describes the consciousness of people who are aware --at the highest possible level-- of the sense of life and existence, and of their vocation and active role with in this process. An essential characteristic of this Noosphere is that the people who are part of it communicate with each other --by several means, but nowadays mostly by Internet--, thus enhancing each other's consciousness about this fundamental information, and strengthening their sense of responsibility.
We think of the work of education as building this immurement brick by brick, fulfillment of the Delphic precept โNosce te ipsumโ.But to know yourself is to develop an intentional relation to yourself, to be able to constitute yourself as part of the world. This big little word โworldโ signifies the sum total of what we are able to intend or attend to.As human beings we hunger for world, for the world.

What on earth is this? Any suggestions..., by pezlow on Dec 8, 2007 20:57:33 GMT 1, I was in the ghetto last year buying something when the artist who made these brought them in. Never thought to ask who he was. It was quite funny though because they then all had a long conversation about what to charge for them. The person to ask for the full story will be Nick Tucker at BRP.
