Yesterday in Parliament
Banksy Notorious graffiti artist Banksy received the stamp of approval from the establishment after his latest work was praised by MPs. Banksy recently targeted the Holy Land with a series of stencilled works on the security wall in Bethlehem. Veteran Labour MP Gerald Kaufman (Manchester Gorton) tabled a motion saying that his depictions were a far more accurate portrayal of life in the Holy Land than the images presented by the Israeli government.

Yesterday in Parliament, by hammy on Dec 6, 2007 13:03:59 GMT 1, nice....spreading like wildfire would be an understatement for times of late for banksy and his work.
good to see even an MP can see past the 'its vandalism' side of things that these artists so often get put down for. in saying that its a tad odd to be accepted by such a body given obvious reasons!
either way gd spot! +1

Yesterday in Parliament, by Avian Security on Dec 6, 2007 14:15:14 GMT 1, All that remains is for parliament to decide that Graffiti in general, and in particular in Tower Hamlets, is a more accurate depiction of life than that depicted on TV. TV will be banned, and all streets will be compulsorily decorated. We will all become artists and the world will be saved. Except for the massive increase in Butane emissions from spraycans, which will accelerate Climate Change and destroy the world. But we'll be happy marching into the sunset. The End.

Short memory Silky ;D
Do you remember when Cameron became leader of the conservatives, he promised a change to the way business was conducted in Parliament by himself, remember he said no more 'Punch & Judy' politics, well in the last couple of weeks he seems to have forgotten all about that, I've seen the biggest display of Punch & Judy for years. Wouldn't trust him at all, he's not even in power yet or been leader for very long and he's already lied and gone back on his word.
"And we need to change, and we will change, the way we behave.
I'm fed up with the Punch and Judy politics of Westminster, the name calling, backbiting, point scoring, finger pointing."

Notice all his finger pointing recently?
