Indeed, or for just part of the screen shift + apple + 4 then drag your selection on your mouse

The 'Big Mac' Thread, by Rourke on Nov 20, 2007 12:51:38 GMT 1, Cheers tilt I will tell the programmer about it.
Still on the subject of Macs. I have a G4 Notebook @ home, and a thin pink line as appeared of the LCD display, prob about a pixel across looks like a guide.
As anybody come across this b4?
Is this repairable or is it F*cK*d
Cheers

The 'Big Mac' Thread, by tilt on Nov 20, 2007 13:07:29 GMT 1, ouch, doesn't sound good at all...
seems like the display is 'F*cK*d'. Sure this is repairable, but quite expensive. New display costs about 300$ over here. but the tricky part is the assembly. Done this myself last year on a powerbook (broken hinge) and nearly gone mad.
Still got warranty or AppleCare? but i doubt they will repair this at goodwill.

The 'Big Mac' Thread, by anthonyvthc on Nov 20, 2007 18:07:35 GMT 1, Just a heads up: Apple has guidelines as to what defines a f**ked screen, something about groupings of dead pixels (i.e. if there are a bunch of dead pixels, but they are spread out, then it is not covered, etc) Don't quote me on the details, just a warning.

The 'Big Mac' Thread, by Martin Whatson on Nov 22, 2007 3:02:26 GMT 1, On my Powerbook G4 you have to press: 'Apple Symbol' + 'Shift' + '4' Then you can drag jsut as inky said. But then IF you press 'space' after you have pressed 'Apple Symbol' + 'Shift' + '4' a camera will appear and automaticly choose the area of the program you have open. I.e if you have Firefox over 3/4's of the screen it will automaticly crop the screenshot to just the firefox window. Did that make any sense at all? Haha.
Good luck!
