Tip of the iceberg..., by jam on Nov 21, 2007 8:52:42 GMT 1, A signed TM for 3k is still nearly twice what it was in Feb/March, so its certainly not as 'affordable' as they once were. As backpackpunk also pointed out, this image was a slow mover at POW and not many rate it very high on their wish list... I don't see it as too great a bargain to pass up.

Tip of the iceberg..., by bond on Nov 21, 2007 9:27:08 GMT 1, At this rate we will talk ourselves into a recession !!
Lets be honest here . ยฃ 3,000 is still a shed load for a signed non unique print and as others have stated TM was slow to sell anyway.
Even less than 12 months ago you could get an unsigned for ยฃ 500 or maybe less.
Prices have definitely fallen but like most things it's probably just a mini correction.
Something unexplained happened in the summer with prices doubling in about 4 > 6 weeks before levelling off ( As soon as i paid a bucket load for a Sepia !!!!!) .
Nobody should be getting depressed as if anything it's a good oppurtunity to hoover up one or two pieces we missed out on - providing the money is there of course.
It's Christmas, it's more expensive to borrow money , the weather is crap and the nights are drawing in .
Don't forget that the recent run of Micallef's and Trolley prints were deliberately released in greater numbers to give people a better chance of owning one.
It worked as i am sure there are more of us who were lucky enough to get a Trolley ,whether signed or not and / or a GIWTBB.
All that's happened is profits for Ebayers are down .
Stay positive everyone !! Just love the stuff you have and take the opportunity to snap up a bargain if you can.
