Student Insurance Questions, by graeme501 on Oct 27, 2007 15:05:33 GMT 1, i was wondering if any1 could help me, i need 2 get my stuff in my student accomedation insured and cant seem 2 find any student insurance that will be able 2 insure £8000 worth of prints and such like
any1 know of ne1 that can do this ? only need personal property insurance

the people that would break in2 our house wouldnt have a clue how much the prints are worth, and would most likely steal our tv instead, but insurance companies dont wanna know that ;D

I got a quote from Endsleigh (who are the cheapest for students) and for £8000 contents insurance it was about £500 for the year with a fairly high excess. Not worth bothering with!
Take a photo of them and put it as a screen saver

Seriously I'd take Richards advice.
You'd be surprised just how many students would know how much Banksys prints are worth. I am not saying all students are crooked but word soon gets around Dundee or not.
The best place as Richard says is back at home for the time being.
