if not does Banksy submit to the stereotype of the North/South divide .....could we even say there is a 'Banksy brain drain' that benefits the south?
Being in sunny Manchester i crave the odd stencilled rat to pop up for me to admire on the way to work
any thoughts?

You can miss it, it's on the left hand side just pass the window bit!
That's the only banksy i'm aware of in Manchester, anyone know any others?

i was thinking of starting a ' mancsy' cult with little snippets popping up over the city
not so much 1 person but a group idea of leaving small works for people to find/admire etc

I've no idea if it's actually genuine, it does look quite detailed, however it's quite small, and half the banksy tag bit has been knocked off.
I think i've got a picture of it somewhere knocking around... i'll try and dig it out tonight!

Banksy Oop North, by Neverwork on Oct 25, 2007 7:20:36 GMT 1, spotted a rat on on a boarded up house in spencer place, leeds, earlier this year, now gone, sos no pics. also painted 3 on a duck shed at a farm just outside leeds one piece was sold in sale 14890 vision 21, 25 april 2007, lot 207 (untitled, tv girl ยฃ32,000). also used to be a cashpoint on the back of the uni halls in about 2000 not 100% sure if that was banksy though.
