Ah well, at least there is fit models and decent music now on Channel 4...

It they'd played like they did in the second half for the entire comp it would've been a far more entertaining team to watch over the course of the comp. The first half was painful. Every time the the backs touched the ball they kicked it. Boring Rugby. They lost the cup by giving away stupid penalties in front of the posts. That said, they did themselves proud against the best team in the tournament that had previously given their arse a solid flogging. No one gave them a chance to begin with, especially the English media, and they made it to the decider. Good job.

Too much pressure on the players in the final so the rugby suffers.
The best team in the tourament won but respect to England for their valiant effort.

however having given it some thought in the cool light of day, they did a great job getting to where they did given the difficult times over the last few years and to be beaten by South Africa (points that the England side gave them) was no big shame, the boys can hold their heads high and know that only they were close to scoring a try....how different could it have been had Johnny not missed that kick and Cueto's foot / knee was a couple of inches the other way
