Im framing my 'GIWTBB' myself in a large ornate 120cm x 90cm frame. I just cannot find a supplier of mounts that anything bigger than 120 x 81.5 and as the print is 106 x 76, I need a mount for this to work.
Can anyone help me?

Mount Me!!!, by scoote on Oct 21, 2007 0:52:07 GMT 1, I figure you may be a bit stuffed there with the biggest of printing stocks being 1020 x 720, (B1), try giving GF Smith a call in Hull though (google for their number) You may possibly get a bigger sheet size and if you order it as a sample you should get it for nowt. Please note that this is from a printing point of view with regards to stock sizes. You may find that anyone involved in framing could get bigger sheets.

Iv also jus bagged a Dog Save The Queen (which I dont have as of yet) so been a wicked month 4 me. My collection feels a little more complete now and once these beauties are framed, I may pluck up the courage to get them all on "banksy's Out'. Not sure yet tho as I do all my own framing and dont think my respect can take anymore Negs ;D ;D ;D

Mount Me!!!, by tomjedimaster on Oct 21, 2007 9:00:10 GMT 1, try lion framing www.lionpic.co.uk, i think i bought a 2 pack of oversize from them before. if not, just go to your local framers and buy an oversize mount. they might charge you a tenner for non-archive and could probably order you some conservation board.

Nah stick em up fella. People may not like them but they shouldn't neg you for it.
I frame a lot of my stuff myself. I cant afford to get all my prints professionally framed and it's quite enjoyable to see the finished result. The only thing I get someone else to do is the conservation mount. You can get a framer to do that quite cheap with a bit of bartering though.
