allow me to introduce myself; this charming man, by morrissey1 on Oct 16, 2007 5:21:53 GMT 1, hello to all in forum. First post, so I thought I would make a point of saying hello to all first, then also explain what Im here for, and what I hope to get out of this forum.
First "real" art prints I bought were some prints by Tom Everhart. Everhart does pop art re-workings of Snoopy and the Peanuts gang. Sound weak? Trust me, they're actually pretty sweet. Then, I sort of grew out of those, sold them, and got fascinated by the whole british/worldwide street art scene. Of course, like most, I was lured into this world by Banksy and his work, but I've seen enough by other artists to know that there is more than just a bit to choose from. As far as artists I've seen so far that I like: Banksy, David Choe, Adam Neate, Candice Tripp. I'm sure there are hundreds of more.
Anyway, just thought I would say hello. Oh, and PS....I don't even have an ebay account and don't want one....so I hope to not fall into that ebay trap. Not rich here....
So, well, hello!
