2 of my framed Obey prints still have the curly effect after being rolled . Is there a way of flatening these out. Ironing?
Secondly is anyone else getting annoyed witht the new version of Hotmail ? thanks, matt

IRONING & HOTMAIL, by shogun on Oct 17, 2007 9:35:26 GMT 1, How do you flatten your prints?? I usually put down a piece of ply then cover it with loads of acid free sheets then put a print down and then cover it again with loads of acid free sheets. Top it up with another piece of ply and then stick my folio on top (which has somehow got to around the 15kg mark). Leave the print there for a couple of weeks in a room with the heating off. At the end of it it'll all flatten out.
In your case i'm assuming the prints are curling forwards. In that case put the print face down when flattening.
To flatten more than one print I usually use a folio sleeve as a seperator. I will stress that acid free sheets are the only thing that touch the print.
If you dont want to use ply the next time you buy a plasma save the box and cut out the two largest sections.
hope it helps...
As for hotmail - why dont you configure it to run on outlook or thunderbird?? that way you dont have to look at the 'new' hotmail.
Besides gmail is a lot better

IRONING & HOTMAIL, by saltandiron on Oct 17, 2007 9:39:56 GMT 1, I don't like the new hotmail layout too. I tried to give it a go but it's been a few weeks now and I still think it's a bit shit.
As for using googlemail, I don't like the idea of my emails being scanned for targeted advertising.

IRONING & HOTMAIL, by absyrd on Oct 17, 2007 9:41:26 GMT 1, Time flattens them. Be patient. If they were framed before flattened properly, unfortunately gravity will keep them that way (most likely). I recently started a print-care post on the Faile forums if you'd like to peep it.
