First an enormous "Thank You" to Misterframeman (Gary) for doing such an awesome job. Perspex is the way to go...
Made on a thick slab of metal, the piece is held in place with little battens, against a black background. It's coated against rust, and TLSG delivered it for free - Thank you!
As for size... 119cm x 118cm x 20cm. Yes, it is a big one! But one hell of a piece. I love it!
It will be going on a wall.

How heavy is it? Is it a one man job, or two man erm lifting it  That really is huge the POW Micallef is going to be not far off, if put in large swept frame.

I saw you chatting with CBL about this piece when you bought it at Found. +1 mate cos this Amp was top three in the whole show for me. You were a bit worried about what the good lady might think all that time ago.

I was a bit surprised that no one seemed interested in it at the show. I guess people were totally bowled by Beejoir, DFace, et al.
I'll keep you posted on the reaction when she gets in from work. It isn't the sort of thing you can hide... It really is breathtakingly good.

I have a lost piece coming on Saturday that I am getting v excited about. It's similarly big so I am wondering how to make sure it stays on the wall (and as my house is made out of papermache) not take the wall down with it!

Your AMP is stunning Yomster. My canvas of Kwan has been in situ for a little while now as well and is honestly one of the best pieces I own. Every time I walk past it I can't help having another long look at it.

I'd hate to see it go brown! If it does, the next stop is whether TLSG takes responsibility for not coating it with enough goo! Anyhow, I'll be moving to New Mexico soon
