EBAY GESTAPO, by RBK on Jul 6, 2007 16:07:53 GMT 1, I've noticed this more and more over the last few months, but I think it is irresponsible to raise so many flags on what appear to be legitimate auctions (and they haven't been mine).
If you have doubts about an item - pose it as a question and the wonderful people of this forum will be able to help you. Think it is reckless to post "Beware/Shady/etc" just because you don't have a good feeling.

I'd rather someone flags something up (much as I did with the Tea Drinker the other day - I have since had my suspicions confirmed on that one by two separate sources.) and leave people to make up their own mind, than people get caught out

Things like signatures and numbering can vary from year to year, Banksy's old LA canavases from a few years back had different signatures to the norm and they certainly get questioned a lot of the time.
I agree with RK though, if your not sure you know enough just ask the question to start the post, Im sure theres enough ugly mugs on here to spot a fake if it was.
