Its starting to freak me out. I'm not one for that mumbo-jumbo s**t but I swear to god something really s**tty is going to happen to me one day at 11:11.
Anyone else have stuff like that happen?

thanks, yeah i'm fine. it was only a little 10 mph or so shunt, i had my little boy with me and he threw up and as i tried to just hold his bib up to stop it going everywhere, i drove straight in to another vehicle.  busted the wing and it pierced the battery, so it ain't moving. couldn't have been more than 500 yards from my house either, silly billy.
sadly luckily it means i'm having to kill time on here 'til the footie starts, plus no work = no money  .

glad i'm not the only one ;D
saying that i wrote off a hire van once and lost my job over it. now everyone's gonna think i'm some kind of tyrone behind the wheel, trust me i'm not - this is i think is the fourth time i've had a ding in over 11 years driving.
oh, and i put a work van in a ditch once in black ice, big up to the farmer who came and pulled me out

a week later a friend hit a truck an off side blow and was in hospital for months.

A year ago my girlfriend and I and another couple decided to go to Cardiff to watch some rugby. We were travelling from Leeds and for some reason we decided to set off earlier than had planned.
Anyway after about half an hour of travelling we were doing about 85 in the fast lane when the bonnet flipped up, smashing the windscreen and got stuck there.
We managed to get the car across the three lanes to the hard shoulder and survived the accident.
Going back to the fate thing I think it was fate that we decided to leave earlier. If we had been on the motorway any later and there had been busy traffic there would have been no way we would have been able to get out of the fast lane and a good chance someone would have smashed into the back of us!!!
Scary stuff.
Also my mate didn't tell me until we were drunk later on that when the windscreen smashed, the rear view mirror came off, fell into his footwell and lodged under the brake pedal. He had to kick it out before he could brake.
Far too Final Destination- esque for me!!!

hendrix.... you're not alone. 11:11 has been a recurring number sequence on clocks in my life for years... and I mean YEARS. Past girlfriends have told me it just pure coincidence and although I don't know what it means, it is spooky.
