Too good to be true?, by Neate Michael on Oct 4, 2007 12:16:02 GMT 1, www.gumtree.com/london/05/14224405.html
I am tempted to call this guy but to be honest as they said on breakfast news this morning (when talking about some poor sucka who sent £12k to Nigeria to a "lady" he met on a dating site (who turned out to be a rip off merchant)): If it looks too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true.

Too good to be true?, by mcnuts on Oct 4, 2007 12:23:50 GMT 1, i called. wanted the toxic mary. it isn't stamped but is numbered. Lookin at the TM thread, most are stamped....he bought it off of ebay and doesnt have any provenance (though is checking for me).... so who's got 500 GBP to chance... i'm not sayin it is a fake. could be a great deal but, as always... buyer beware.

But I'm a bit skeptical also, if something sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Go round, check them out, if happy go back with the dosh, or do the deal in a well observed place (eg bank)

true BUT the thread states that the majority of the pieces most likely were stamped.

before we go too far down this line he also told me that he sold a lot of prints in the past and would try and track down info so i could contact POW.... just seems odd as the pieces are "priced to sell" with little variation between the three in asking price. that seems odd too... but he did seem helpful etc...

Don't get me wrong, I just said it was a possibility, if I were local, I'd go and check them out (at least the Pulp Fiction for sure)
