You could try leaving the wall outside, he might do it for you. I heard he's into that kind of thing.

In all seriousness, do what GVD says and make sure you do some practice runs. there are alot of picture files on his forum you could use as templates

I helped my next-door neighbour do this, I scanned the flower thrower stencil from Banksy's book then we went to Kall Kwik and had it output to overhead projector film, after borrowing a OHP the image was then shone on to the wall and useing pencil traced the outlines, this was later painted in black.

Don't COPY a Banksy stencil !!! Create your OWN ! If you can cut a stencil, then do your own thing ! I heard once, years ago in the 80s, of someone who had copied my stencils AND SIGNATURE from the book Vite Fait Bien Fait ! I got in touch with that person and told him that it was not very correct to copy someone's work this way, So I painted a piece on his wall and signed it and gave him tips to do his own thing ! He did something veryu nice and personal and was very happy and somewhat proud of having created his own artwork... I'd never imagine making a copy of a Warhol or any other artist I like (unless I add my own touch to it)... Your own art is more valuable than a copy of anybody else's work (whatever the fame !)... What's the point in doing so

I think Banksy uses Montana graffiti spray paint, its the best paint in my opinion for aerosol art, especially the Alien range as it is low pressure therefore making it easy to use.

For my life size characters (street stencils) I've been using good old grey cardboard for 25 years, 1,5 mm thick, with very ordinary cutters, large blade (the secret being that you should cut blade very very often to keep a sharp one)... For small size stencils, I use 200 grams white paper. I don't use my small stencils on the street, so they don't have to be as thick. I use Montana or True Colorz spraycans, only because they are the cheapest I can find. But, 25 years ago, I only used Altona, only because they were the only ones you could find !

Here's an example of a stencil in an appartment. I painted this "Bruce" in a nice appartment in Paris (in Le Marais). The owner wanted a bit of street art on her wall, but not on canvas (well, she has actually bought a painting of mine at the gallery since then)... I told her that this piece on her wall was life-warranteed ! It means that if she wants to re-paint or de-decorate her flat, I'll go back and re-spray the stencil. Same thing if she moves to another appartment or house !

I like the life warranty of the on the wall spray!!!

I have to somewhat disagreed with both the above and what Sir Aerosol have stated. It's no secret that every master of any medium of art got their start copying the classical/high art works done before them (for "study" purposed only of course). Trying to copy a Banksy would be no different in this case.
