to me, i've loved the image for a while, when the opportunity to own a print came up i snatched it. for a start, the term 'peacekeeper' is a contradiction in terms - someone who is a member of the armed forces and is highly trained in military procedures and is ultimatley trained to kill, is sent to a part of the world in turmoil in the hope of pacifying the unrest and keeping the 'peace'.
to emphasise the point, our man is dressed in a chemical suit, bearing symbols of peace. simple, yet classic.
