have to make sure you get some good insurance that covers accidental damage too m8. i am so paranoid about damage i only have art in the office at the moment until the little monsters have grown up a bit.
anyway well done again you'll love being a dad, its the best job in the world and although hard at times, it will also be the best thing you'll ever do.

Don't know anyone on here personally but there seems to be a whole lot of solid people that make a lot of good posts, and through here have found out about a ton of good new artists that have helped expand my collection.
Will have to be keeping a keener eye on the £50 thread though come arrival time!!

My little girl is now 5 months old. It's been a hectic time, but every day with her is amazing. If you're planning on taking time off when she's born you may well find yourself on the forum at some really random times of the night and day- I know I did! Good luck with the study/project, and don't leave us for too long.
I can certainly echo everyone's sentiments on here. Have met and spoken to some great people (note- 'people' not 'guys' Paulah ). I'm glad the anger over the Micallef fiasco seems to be easing, especially for you Carlito. Can't wait for the next gathering- is there a definite venue for the print awards yet? Will the Dragon Bar be big enough?

Congrats mate, but don't believe a word they all say ;D, my lad is now 14 thinks i'm past it and he's cutting edge, rubbishes my music then I find him rummaging through all my old vinyl, slags my art and then tells his mates how cool it is etc etc ;D ;D
Despite that he is the best thing, together with his littler and more angelic sister that have ever happened to me (plus the missus of course without whose help it wouldn't have been possible). It's fantastic, knackering, heartbreaking and every other emotion along the way. You'll love it. I have fond memories of making bottles forgetting how many scoops of formula I'd put in and having to start all over again at 4am in the morning.

I will speak to the Dragon bar but this means it will have to be a Wed or Thursday (5th /6th DEC) as they will not let us have downstairs on a Weekend night.

My son is 19 and he does the same thing! and apparently he knows much more about everything than I do
