I second that. as a newcomer it's cool to see people helping out. I had several people PM me letting me know when they were going to drop prints fromt heir baskets. i need to return the favor some day!

I have to agree with everything CBL has said and I hope to meet some of you at some distant show!

Without alot of peoples help I wouldn't have such a wonderful and diverse collection of art as I do now.

That's aweome. As a n00b myself, it's awesome to see that there are people on here with that type of integrity. Makes me want to give back. Although seeing as I'm from the states, those chances may be few and far between. Should there be another show over here, I look forward to lining up with some of you.

It would take me far too long to big up those that have helped me out and brightened up the day, educated my naive self about street art and art in general. There are some top people on this forum - you know who you are and I thank you. One nod to dave perry though who welcomed me first . [resisting temptation to compile big list of top people!!]

I'm going to be having to take some time away while I finish off an important study/project I've needed to finish for far too long and I know I'm going to miss the luxury of spending the time I have done on here for the last few months. I'll still be visiting, just less often. For all it is, this micro society - this top place is what we make it and that makes me feel good about the good old human spirit. Especially at a time like this for me in my life right now.

Please excuse my reflective mood but my good lady scavos and I have just told her dad he's going to be a grandad for the first time - yup there's going to be a lil' minnie monkey scavos entering the world in around 6 months time! I'M GONNA BE A DAD!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

It's especially important for me because me and my bro were estranged from my birth father when we were very young and after spending most of my life dreaming about finding him I actually managed to track him down in the Nth East two years ago. We began building bridges and although he was a very troubled character we shared a passion for art and music and clicked. Sadly, he died suddenly after 13 weeks of me finding him. Gone just like that. Forever.

I don't have the courage to talk about it with most folks and I won't go on but I just want to say, I'm so happy to be a father to be. Glad to be able to share that with you and look forward to seeing some of you at some of the shows to come; especially the awards. Wouldn't miss that for the world.

With regards the forum, it has been nice to see folks rally round and try and help those that missed out. It didn't make nice reading what went on at Laz but this will surely have helped make up for it.
