In case you don't know the book, it was the very first book ever published about pochoirs / stencil street art, in 1986, by Editions Alternatives (yes, same editor as my recent book : VIP Very Important Pochoirs) in collaboration with agnes B. The book was written by Marie-Pierre Massé, Josiane Pinet and Nicolas Deville. The title was borrowed from one of my street slogans and the cover was one of my stencils. Various artists were interviewed inside the book : Miss tic, Blek le rat, epsylon Point, Marie Rouffet, etc... and myself. The book is, of course, fully illustrated. The release of Vite Fait / Bien Fait was celebrated by an important exhibition at the Galerie du Jour (owned by famous French fashion designer agnes B.), with lots of live painting and stencil performances... The book hasn't been re-edited and can't be found in bookshops any more.
Here I am on that photo, in 1986, holding that thing that has now become a collector's item !

COLLECTOR'S ITEM !, by Jef Aerosol on Sept 14, 2007 23:43:36 GMT 1, another interesting book about French stencil street art published in 1991 by Hersher editions. I remember Yvan Tessier, the author : he interviewed me for the book and sent me a copy when it came out. It's a very nice book.

you know...i bet they'll be a trend here for all those A listers next year ;D...kudos on your stencil work...they are unreal! keep up the style...id like to see a warhol, i know its kindof been played out a little, but id like to see your take on it...

This is my warhol ! The stencil's been only used once so far and the canvas was sold. But I can paint some more, of course ! The size is 40 cm x 40 cm... There's a photo of that painting in my book.
