i know these arn't stencils (i stencil a lot but mainly on clothing) but here are two of my recent pen drawings (and 1 with watercolour) i'd love it if you could like critique them and let me know how i could improve etc. my inspirations are punk and basically the ugly side of it, including drugs. im also quite inspired by this artist, Lauren Utter. if you look under the bit'recent deviations' well those kinda pics jadedyouth.deviantart.com/
So any help would be much appreciated, especially with the girl. (see below)
Lost Without You
the 2nd one of the girl is unfinished but im not really sure what to do to it. i've tried a few ideas out in pencil but i didnt like them. i tried adding another girl kinda mirror imaged which i quite like but could get the body in proportion and it just didnt fit. i also thought about just writing like her thoughts which were about giving up drugs. i would quite like a subtle drug theme
p.s. sorry for really bad quality images, had to use shit camera which was running out of battery

my art, by reados on May 19, 2007 22:54:13 GMT 1, i think you have some nice techniques which will improve and evolve the more you do, but i think you really need to work on your drawing skills, it looks like you have drawn these from memory or your imagination, i dont know your age but i hope im not offending you here but these look like the drwaing of a child from about 10+ years.
Looking at laurens work, her drawings are a bit more acomplished, some of look like they have been traced. Which would be good to try.
Many artists go to life drawing classes to improve their drawing skills. If you dont fancy that just practice sketching from magazines and photo's etc.

im 17 by the way and i havn't drawn since i was 15 and then i had only been drawing a year. i definately want to improve so any advice/criticism is very welcome.
