how about a Secret Santa type swap of prints?, by rob123rob on Sept 11, 2007 4:20:01 GMT 1, I was seeing on Asbestoes website that a community of artists agree to a secret santa gift swap each year, in which each artist swaps a piece of his/her art to someone in exchange for someone elses...etc.....and I was thinking why can't we, as art lovers, do the same? I would love to organize the forum S.S.S. (Secret Satan Swap)--wouldn't have to revolve around xmas.
Guidelines: I would draw names out of hat and you would told who to send print/canvas/whatever to. Someone else would get your name. You could swap any piece you already own or buy something new. As long as it is either a print, a canvas, or as close to a piece of art as possible, then its good.
Then, we could all post our pics on here as to what "presents" we got from our friends here in the forum. And who knows, you just might get that dface pop tart yet!
Does anyone else think this might be a cool idea, and are you willing to participate?
