Paypal Faile Fiasco, by Pattycakes on Sept 5, 2007 9:00:06 GMT 1, I know this has be discussed in other threads, but I am wondering if there are others still waiting for their faile refunds. I've had £744 and a bit back (from £788) but am still waiting for a further £327, which Paypal are "holding" for 7-9 days. I know that my bank sent them the money 3 days ago, I can't believe that they can do this, and the phone operators in some far off land are incredibly rude! Gahhh I need a drink already and it's only 9am!

Paypal Faile Fiasco, by nickc on Sept 5, 2007 11:41:47 GMT 1, I think this is just typical now of Paypal. This new e-cheque thing is a joke - it takes longer to clear payments than a proper cheque. I have been waiting for 9 days now for a echeque to clear through Paypal for a Crucipod I bought off the bay. The payment left my account 2 days ago but it still hasn't cleared in the clients account. It makes you think how much interest they are earning.
Does anyone know why they have switched to this method?

Paypal Faile Fiasco, by Pattycakes on Sept 5, 2007 11:43:02 GMT 1, Yeah I know, Paypal are seriously shady, they claim that they don't profit from holding funds, but that is bullshit. They also have a seriously high currency transfer rate which is why everyone lost a lot on the pounds to dollars and vice-versa, they make a ton of money from that!
