(for those who arent familar with the Droit de Suite, basically it is resale royalties giving a visual artist the rights to receive a percentage of the resale revenue of their works in the market and is effective for works over the value of 3000 euro! Im pretty sure few people have paid this on some of their Banksys!  )

Banksy and not so Banksy at Auction, by thwaites on Sept 5, 2007 17:24:26 GMT 1, I was working at Sworders recently and they had just had this canvas in. I wasn't too impressed with it though, the reverse was more interesting than the front (it has a monkey on the back).
A kid who was doing work experience there was quite funny though- he was like "did you know that splodge of paint is worth like £50,000! I could do that!" I did try to educate him.
