Help - Buying from the States, by sid on Sept 5, 2007 18:16:48 GMT 1, Hi
I am sure i have seen a thread on here regarding avoiding customs charges when buying from America Think it has to be declared as a loan item to an Exhibition being returned - insurance value can then be at correct value - is that right ? Can anyone help or point me in the direction of the original thread Cheers

Help - Buying from the States, by Filipino Box Spring Hog on Sept 6, 2007 6:08:37 GMT 1, I'm not positive but, I believe if the package is marked as a gift you shouldn't have to pay anything - or better yet, it should be marked as original art returned to artist or some such thing.
