Works extremely well with the image!
Out of interest did you choose that combination? How much did the framer advise? Dare I ask how much?

Framed JD pics, by a4mnt on Jul 6, 2007 23:22:50 GMT 1, Cheers guys, the respect points mean a lot as I'm well chuffed with this frame.
misterframeman - i told the framer i wanted a wooden, flat, gold ornate frame with a coloured bevel and he got me onto this particular frame, convinced me to have silver and the matching wooden slip. As soon as I saw it i knew the silver was perfect as it brings out the greys in the print. The wooden slip really makes it. It my first floated print, so i'm very happy. Cost was £200 inc collection and delivery. Is that good? Its 1.3m long and 1m high.
babyford - its done by a framer from Croydon, so he'll travel to SW/SE london possibly. PM me if thats your area and I'll give you his details.
Thanks again everyone, i'm very chuffed. I want more framing done now ;D

Framed JD pics, by a4mnt on Jul 7, 2007 0:15:57 GMT 1, Bobby - mantis is on the list, but next up is Minotaur weapon (my avatar) and a more exciting frame for barcode. Then city girl. So AFD is a little down on the list and more frames = less prints at the moment

ABC - it was £200, which seems to be a bit of a steal. That includes the framer coming to my place to collect and deliver also. My basic premise was wooden ornate, float and coloured bevel - and he recommended the frame with slip.
Chuffed is not the word!! ;D
PS - ABC - just realised the cost was higher up the thread!
Minotaur Weapon next, as soon as I alter the insurance policy to properly cover it.

Framed JD pics, by Mister Frame Man on Jul 8, 2007 23:37:47 GMT 1, Not a bad price...Big frame! Pleased to hear that other framers are making the effort to produce good work aswell as offering good advice, not just thinking about the money! Will post pic's of my Barcode for you as soon as I get a minute - might give you some ideas.
PS: Don't push this framer to too many people! ;D

Certainly a good price. That will keep your JD protected for years to come maybe even see it on the Antiques roadshow in 50 years time
