New area in sub-boards for FRAMED pics, by jam on Jun 30, 2007 14:51:19 GMT 1, As I mentioned in the 'Get your BANKSY's out for the lads!! (Part II)' thread... I have been giving thought to all the time I spend looking for examples of a specific print framed up. I like to have a look at what other people have done with each print to see how different mats, frames, and mountings look for each individual print. I chatted with a few other members about framing ideas and it seems like many other people search through looking for the same thing.

I think it would be much more convenient and organized to have a collection of many examples of each print listed in a thread under the 'Banksy Limited Edition Prints' sub-board so others can look at just the print framed they are trying to see examples of rather than searching thousands of photos in multiple threads. These smaller threads based on the individual prints should alleviate the technical and topic management issues that were hampering the 'Get your BANKSY's out' threads, and they will also allow you to view photos of only the specified print rather than pages and pages of different ones. Further, the dividing up of the threads into multiple sub-boards for each print should allow you to load the pages without the long delay of the photos only boards.

I have received some great input from other members on the 'Get your BANKSY's out...' thread. I have also PM'd Silky & Ågentßacardi about the concept and then moved on to collecting and grouping images for each thread. This should be a good way to save time and see some of the great framing jobs everyone has had done, plus it will give you some nice ideas for your Banksys! Feel free to add photos in the proper threads, but please refrain from commenting... this should keep each thread manageable and on topic. Also, remember to resize images that may be oversized so everyone can have a proper look at your framing work!
