When's the last time you gave someone the finger?, by a4mnt on Jun 11, 2007 11:04:46 GMT 1, Took a short cut around some roadworks on a pavement and walked along the bike lane against on coming traffic. Not the best of ideas, I admit, but living in a city, its normal to take your chances with traffic.
Anyway, a bus driver decided he was going to try to use the bike lane as a bus lane, which meant I had to press up hard against the roadworks. Buses just don't fit in bike lanes and I was not best pleased, but as I was rushing for a train I didn't think about venting my anger there and then.
I should have given him the finger - not that it would have solved anything, but maybe would have made me feel better, particularly as I was wishing I'd just stuck to the detour on the pavement!

When's the last time you gave someone the finger?, by azlan on Jun 12, 2007 1:02:07 GMT 1, This afternoon, an impatient middle aged, bolding businessman in a typical silver BMW tailgated me at speeds of over 95mph down the 3rd lane of the M5. Not wanting to cause an obstruction, but sencing the bolding mans impatientness to pass (or drive straight through me), gently eased back into the middle lane, yet not allowing him quite enough room to pass safely. Ensuring his full beady glare on the imminent overtaking maneuver, I warmly greeted him with a large grin while elogantly flipping the bird!

If the gentleman behind you wasn't speeding at the time he would be legally allowed to undertake you.

When's the last time you gave someone the finger?, by johnas on Jun 12, 2007 12:05:44 GMT 1, About a month back - Going along a dual carriageway in the fast lane doing about 70, a kid showing off to his girlfriend in the passenger seat of his little Clio was crawling all over the back of my car flashing his lights Knowing that the road goes into a single carriageway about a mile ahead I just carry on ;D when I see the slow lane is clear I realize he will try to undertake me, which he does so I indicate and slowly drift across into the slow lane ;D blocking his run he then tries to overtake me in the other lane but by this time he has run out of road and we are in single lane Flashing lights, Arms waving behind My finger goes up ;D and I can see in the mirror his girlfriend having a right go at him for his dangerous driving ;D
that was you was it??? you fecker....
