Not that it has any effect on my anonymous little existence, except I guess it can be a little bit inspiring to share those sorts of connections.
The worlds most enigmatic, sought-after and respected contemporary artist has probably pissed in the same urinals as me, amazing.
Consider that J K Rolling, Harry Potter's mum, the worlds most widely read author, after Jesus,was also born in Yate, in the same little memorial hospital as me then that's pretty amazing too, must be something in the water.
Do you think I should start a campaign for the local council to build a monument to J K, which could then be customized by Banksy? Or is there some other way to salute these two giants of modern culture?

Yate is a small town N.E. of Bristol where nothing much happens so I'm sure Banksy got on the X38 to Bris. the minute he saved up enough pocket money and never came back, sensible fella!

A lot of the early pieces (which now get painted over!) with inkey etc all seem to be around Easton so there could be a link there?

How about Banksy to make a statue of JK Showing the finger in one hand, a wad of cash in the other whilst flashing a bit of thigh, a sort of morph of some his other work( I think), (I'm quite new to Banksy's stuff, tho' a massive fan). Or the cash stuffed into her knickers, d'you get the drift?
I'm sure all you Banksy officionados have imagined your own take on his art!

i come from canterbury, no-one famous is from there and i still can't out-achieve the place, the monks have more cred than me
