Any info on Bast - Marilyn Print?, by bored with screen names on Jun 1, 2007 20:05:04 GMT 1, 
Won this on eBay. Am very happy with what I paid mainly because I like it a lot, but am a little concerned with the lack of info I'm finding on it. I will try to e-mail the seller to see if he has any information on it, but thought I'd try here as well. Has anyone seen these before? I've seen a couple on Faile's Sold Out Section, but none like this.

PS. Here's the description on the item:
"This is an original double print silkscreen. Red ink. Signed in black ink by the great Brooklyn born artist BAST. It is printed on regular drafting paper. Approx. size 30 inches high x 43 inches wide."

I have a black one on the same type of paper that I bought from the Faile site last year

Here's part of his response:
"BAST is a great childhood friend of mine who I am somewhat representing these days. I actually was in his studio assisting him while he made these. For some reason he was into doing doubles that night. And so the "Marilyn 2X" was created. It is a deep red and looks great. He signed it in black ink and off it went. I don't think he put too many of these up on the streets. Maybe that's why there is no info on it. Anyway, it's a true BAST. I will send you a letter stating how I obtained the print on my company letterhead for safe keeping. "

Crazy, but still overtly excited I got mine at the price I did. Wondering if it might have to do with Faile's show. Probably just overthinking it. lol
