Brick lane stuff, by slowmo on May 30, 2007 11:35:20 GMT 1, There is a very impressive sweet tooth, massive one on a side alley on the left hand side of the road if you are walking up Brick Lane. Head for Truman brewery and dray walk for Stolen Space, in the open air car park by here is the Banksy car and Dface car.
Been ages writing this, guess others will have responded already, another place to look, although they are now absolutely battered is Plumbers row. If you approach from the whitechapel end stay on the left hand side of the road, by the open air car park, just before Atlantis art, there is a rat (partially destroyed) and a cartrain. Also remnants of a swoon.
Not sure if its still there, but on Fashion Street, about 20 yards in from the commercial road side on the right hand side of the road, there was a very cool Judith Supine (I suspect).
Loads and loads round there though, just keep your eyes peeled.

Lovely piece though and in mint condition 6 or so months ago. Only 5 minutes from BL..

Brick lane stuff, by ohmygosh on May 30, 2007 12:08:27 GMT 1, another one bites the dust...
I only remembered this as im using an old phone and when i switched it on after 6 months i had this as my screen saver.
The best one i know of which has probably gone too were the bouncers with the red carpet in Shoreditch, that was classic.
My advice is just wander round, you'll see some good stuff if you keep your eyes peeled..

Brick lane stuff, by slowmo on May 30, 2007 12:38:18 GMT 1, Stolen space should be. Although I have been there many times to find no one there to open the door, its small though, so you can pretty much see a lot by looking in even if it is shut.

Brick lane stuff, by Grafter on May 30, 2007 14:40:38 GMT 1, Have a walk down Paul street and Willow st (Home of POW). You'll find some Eines, Failes, Bast, Jim Cereal an quite a few unknowns.
Also on the corner of Great Eastern Street where it meets Old street, there is a Chinese take away. Above it you'll see a scafold erected with a billboard on it. Look behind and underneatd the billboard and you'll find the largest surviving Banksy...... I won't say what it is, it'll be a nice suprise for you...
Across the road in the carpark there is also a huge rat with a saw and the TV thrown out of the window.

Brick lane stuff, by Viva Hate on Jun 5, 2007 14:00:37 GMT 1, Well back from me big smoke job interview, went to go the tate on Sunday, it was closed . Went to go a nice looking phot gallery, £15 admission, no thankyou. Waliking to me job interview and spotted my first Banksy I think it was, a Rat, holding a sign saying Banksy in Bishops gate next to threadneedle street. It was a little faded but looked like a neat spray
