Absolutely. Prints should not be left in tubes for any length of time.

I guess so...I'll find somewhere for it, downstairs cloakroom perhaps, though it will mean moving the generic ikea flower prints which are a feature in there.

get them in archival portfolio sleeves stored flat ... this way they'll stay perfect and be ready for framing

ART HOLDER, by BongoBongo on May 31, 2007 18:22:22 GMT 1, I'll give a second vote to atlantis art, I managed to get an A1 portfolio for £10 two weeks ago. Probably a misprice but I didn't wait around for them to check I now just need some archival sleeves as the ones from Atlantis weren't too hot.

Try your local 'Staples' Goldline range. acid free etc +- £70 if you buy about 9/10 acid free sleeves to go with it...happy enough with mine...very sturdy with rigid sides

ART HOLDER, by rob123rob on May 31, 2007 21:56:39 GMT 1, Quick question. Im getting a portfolio soon for some of tubed prints, and just wondering what is the best way to get prints flat before they go in the portfolio? I dont' want to just squish em down between two encyclopedias. What do you think?
