Knock on from the Art Republic break in, The Norwich Arts Centre has cancelled an exhibition of Banksy prints because of the risk of a theft. Overreaction or common sense?

from reading the article, is sounds like the pressure to cancel the exhibition has come from the owners of the artworks. If I was offering £££'s of pounds worth of my art collection to a gallery, I'd want them to guarantee the security as well as ensuring the safe return at the end, that's for sure
Unless the NAC is 100% sure that the pieces would be safe (which obviously they aren't!) perhaps in the current climate, cancelation is the best option. Criminals will go to all sorts of lengths and tbh, it doesn't look the most secure building in the world!
