Girl With Red Balloon?, by theministerofsound on Feb 1, 2007 4:43:03 GMT 1, I saw that one. The guy doesn't have the receipt and couldn't tell me whether or not it was dry mounted. Not being able to tell whether or not it is dry mounted is definitely an issue for me.
And if you are going to bid on it, I certainly don't want to raise the price on you ;D

Unfortunately I'm in a battle with DHL about a damaged print so there's a lot of my money tied up there...couldn't bid on it.
(one less copy of love is in the air around now.)

Girl With Red Balloon?, by theministerofsound on Feb 3, 2007 20:04:12 GMT 1, If you look at the picture of the stamp, it looks like there isn't a matte. That makes me wonder if it is dry mounted (I also haven't heard back from the seller about this issue).
When trying to file a claim with DHL (or UPS), make the picture look as well-packed as possible (even if it wasn't). Both of those try to put the blame on the shipper saying the piece wasn't properly secured. FedEx doesn't offer protection against framed works so it's worthless filing a claim with them.

The main problem that I have found is proving the value. We declared the value to be 1500GBP, but I paid less so they will only refund what you can prove was spent.
