Banksy Prices '07, by johnerotten on May 6, 2007 0:36:06 GMT 1, so my new girlfriend got me into banksy in february. i almost bought her one of the rats for like US$800 on "the bay," in March. now it seems like everything is crazy and out of control with prices and availability.
my question is this...
is this due to the recent release of morons?
does this happen after every banksy release, or did i jump on the bandwagon as the whole thing was blowing up?
there also seem to be alot less available on ebay. is this due to people sitting on prints after the recent release? more importantly, does this happen after every release or is this unprecedented?

The prices of signed though is rising astronomically. This is down to a whole number of factors but I wouldn't say the release of Morons was particularly important.
