underrated Prints, by BME on Apr 30, 2007 20:55:11 GMT 1, I bought a faile Macbeth a while ago and absolutely love it. Yet the sale price on ebay is only just above its purchase price from POW. I was wondering if anyone else had a print that they reckoned needed to be re-assessed.

It makes me wonder if Banksy is tempted to play with this concept and watch his work sit on the shelf whist Dolk's new piece goes crazy with a Banksy tag.

Not keen on the MacBeth though, I think it pales in comparison to the Faile prints off their website
But massively, hugely under-rated are the Eine Monster prints

Is this so-called reassessment supposed to be a good thing? If so, can you help me understand how/why it would be a good thing? It seems to me, that in the perfect world that always gets the anti-bagger crowd's panties in a knot, no print would ever become more expensive than its original retail.
Maybe Faile's MacBeth is the print that will help create that perfect world; it is the messiah of the art print world, coming to proclaim the arrival of our long awaited anti-bagger mecca.

I would snap one up on ebay now if I were you I have been eyeing a few up myself, coz its such a top quality piece ;D

All that changed the second people got wind of the Lazarides show.
