Banksy Treasure hunt, by finsburyparkranger on Mar 24, 2007 14:59:21 GMT 1, I propose Banksy sprays 100 special tresure hunt 'keys' up and down the UK. The first key finders to be able to unlock a special Banksy related prize. Also I propose one 'key' to be the golden ticket. The first finder of this one gets to meet Mr B and share a drink or two. What do you think?

Banksy Treasure hunt, by BK83 on Mar 24, 2007 16:18:07 GMT 1, Treasure hunt has been done by many streetartists and companies in general -- nothing new. Also no way Banksy would ever agree to this. Opens himself up to exposure.

Banksy Treasure hunt, by Tyler Durden on Mar 24, 2007 16:50:11 GMT 1, Maybe I'm mistaken, but didn't Banksy do a treasure hunt of sorts? Wasn't it something on his website, saying if you went to the wall in Palistine, and found the rat he'd stenciled there pointing to a stone, and you e-mailed the word on that stone you'd get a Banksy original? Or was that just a p*sst@ke that I believed hook line and sinker?

Banksy Treasure hunt, by mcnuts on Mar 24, 2007 20:50:08 GMT 1, How about Banksy has an exhibition in the U.K. and the old L.A prints are put on sale at the exhibition, with some new ones, some of which are also sold on POW website
Wow. Now there is a novel idea. Think it would actually work?

Banksy Treasure hunt, by andrewd on Mar 24, 2007 21:40:58 GMT 1, The real Banksy Treasure Hunt was at the British Museum when it was announced that he had left a piece there. No sure exactly what the deal was but it was something if you found the Trolley Hunters piece. The second Banksy Treasure Hunt was the Paris Hilton CDs Other Banksy Treasure Hunts include going to a nice Newsagent and buying his papers box with the Banksy on it . Some people even resort to Banksy Treasure Hunts that involve 15 members of the extended family going to the 2006 Santa's Ghetto and buying all the 'Flags' up! and then posting them on flea bay. My favourite Banksy Treasure Hunt used to be going out anywhere in London and bumping into a new Banksy. Doubt we'll see too much more of that.
