POW have definitely been sending out the same print to people twice (two of the same print with the same number). Who has had this happen and what did you do about it? I have a stamped and numbered CWS with POW ( old style a4 printed sheet) receipt, I happen to know that the first one was damaged and sent back to POW, a new one was issued but the damaged one made its way back into circulation, and into the hands of some who might be less inclined to keep it. Personally I am a bit annoyed but have the paperwork to back up the print. I hasten to add, mine is the scond undamaged print.

Duplicates, by damullae on Mar 5, 2007 15:44:24 GMT 1, how did you come to realise that the old one was not destroyed?
bit unprofessional, I would have expected all returned prints to be destroyed.

Duplicates, by dmandpenfold on Mar 5, 2007 15:44:27 GMT 1, So is it likely the damaged prints aren't destroyed on return as a matter of course, or was it more likely that POW made a mistake and 'found' your old print down the back of the sofa...subsequently selling it again?
Of course once they make the FU and have sent it out they cant really ask for it back, but i can see why you'd be cheesed off..

The owner of the damaged print contacted me back in the days before things were a bit less hectic regarding the Banksy stuff and told me what the score was.

Duplicates, by slowmo on Mar 5, 2007 15:50:13 GMT 1, Didn't even realise that older returned prints were going out again, however that ended up happening. I only thought this was recent as a couple of posts on here involving a Lucy Mclauchlan and a Gee Vaucher reported they had got the same print twice, or had a message saying it would be coming soon whne the had already received it.

they've 'crept' alright, this one on ebay (Item number: 110098250309) is listed at ₤250, twice the price listed on NW's gallery until he sold the last one today. Mind you there still seems to be a few of the 100 ed. left on his site for the very reasonable sum of ₤60 on his site....if it's your thing of course.
