bankrobber gallery, by tomhills1 on Mar 11, 2007 22:04:34 GMT 1, the chap i bought my grin reaper from was approached about his rude copper with hand-finished spray paint, from the turf war exhibition, that encompassed 12 coppers with f*ck the police accross them, to put it in this collection.
needless to say he declined, one to go under the hammer me thinks.
shows that a lot of these galleries are quite proactive when it comes to including special pieces in their shows, rather than sit back and wait for things to come to them. not that i agree with their jumping on the bandwagon however inevitable that may be.

bankrobber gallery, by corblimeylimey on Mar 12, 2007 10:35:42 GMT 1, I phoned them up on the weekend about another artist, they said that at the moment they weren't VAT registered so I wouldn't need to pay any, but that will probably change very soon with the Banksy sale.
In short that means they're going to get over £60,000 for it, but I think the talk of hundreds of thousands is stupid IMHO.
I think it's just a headline grabbing publicity stunt.
