Even if it is real, 25K GBP can be spent on better pieces IMO

The ยฃ25K is simply a crude attempt to lend this item some credibility. It distracts people, who focus on the high price rather than on whether or not the piece is actually genuine (which they would be more likely to do with a 1p starting price).
As a seller, it's worth the gamble if you happen to be an unscrupulous and dishonest t**t. All it takes is one fool and you're laughing.

The thing that put me off the last time it was on the bay was the hand painted brush stroke at the top, looks too clean for banksy. Someone has taken time to paint that, then waited a few hours to let that red paint dry (Which looks like enamel!) before finishing it off with a tag. A good effort though. Not worth anymore than the cost of the frame.
