Yesterday, by saltandiron on Feb 6, 2007 13:11:26 GMT 1, Did anyone else find yesterday weird? The whole rush for prints thing? Not sure about other people but I like to take my time working out which prints I like, come back to it and then think some more. Yesterday seemed to be a frenzy of 'ohmygodivegottobuysometingrightNOW' I know the images have been up there a while so people have had a chance to look and choose and maybe its just cos I don't have a huge pile of cash to buy 'everything' I like - If I buy one print that I think I quite like and then I find another print I really like then I've lost out.
Not judging people, I just found it... yaknow? weird. Just my $0.02.

Yesterday, by pezlow on Feb 6, 2007 13:44:44 GMT 1, I think a lot of people got caught up in the excitement of it all and ended up buying more than they wanted or could afford. Many of these people will have simply missed the rush of being able to buy from POW for over a month, others will have got into the scene from the visit to SG in December and, having thought about it over xmas and January decided they wanted to buy.
It is absolutely amazing isn't that artists like Eine sold out within a few hours. You do wonder how many of those will be destined for the bay.

Yesterday, by johnas on Feb 6, 2007 14:10:24 GMT 1, i def think people got caught up in the xcitment especially seeing stock numbers counting down. There'll be a few people who woke up this morning thinking "what exactly did I buy yesterday! The missus is gonna kill me when she finds out" ;D
i'm married to a scottish accountant which, no matter how hungry for prints i am, kinda keeps me in check! when it comes to money, you just don't cross her.....

Yesterday, by scoobywilldoo on Feb 6, 2007 19:28:44 GMT 1, Be Warned
I tried frantically to obtain a Lucy McLauchlan Forest print from POW yesterday, first trying when thay had 120 for sale. Every time I entered my name & address the checkout process failed and an error came up. I emailed POW to inform that I had a print in the basket but their website would not allow me to proceed to checkout. Unfortunately they sold out before I had a response, telling me that they had sold out. I was racking my brains wondering why I kept being rejected. Finally it became clear. If you have an Apostrophe in your address then the website rejects the application. It appear that POW still haven't got their checking out process to an exact science.
gutted
