2. another thread i cannot find is someelse about reproduction pics, i think they had guantanamo bay done, i would like the details of this if possible.

hammersnipe.com costs money but you can use 3 free snipes a week.
auctionsiper is better as you can use bidgroups and change the leadin time but I use hammersnipe simply because it's free

2 things, by pezlow on Jan 8, 2007 10:05:50 GMT 1, I've used auctionsniper fairly regularly - I find it works well and I haven't had any failed bids yet. I did try hammersnipe a little while ago but didn't like it as much as auctionsniper.
Watch out because you sometimes get caught out by Ebay minimum bid increments. I tried to snipe a piece a few months back where my maximum bid was ยฃ520. When I saw the auction had ended with the winning bid being ยฃ511 I couldn't understand why I wasn't listed as the winning bidder. Then I logged on to auctionsniper and all became clear - the ebay bid increments had increased to ยฃ10 so ebay had rejected my snipe bid of ยฃ520. With 8 seconds left before the end of the auction there was nothing I could do to increase it.
I guess that is just one of the risks you take by using sniping software though.

I have ebay blocked at work as well, have you tried using www.proxy.org? Someone told me about it on here and it works for me
