Would it be strange if..., by inthefogofdesign on Nov 17, 2006 22:11:23 GMT 1, ...POW released another print now, due to the rapid posting of prints there might not be such a back log as grannies and also the people who are 'true' fans are still sticking around this site and i imagine checking back on POW every now and then.
maybe the masses have subsided and it would hopefully catch the carpet baggers out... well maybe.

Would it be strange if..., by sputnikeye on Nov 17, 2006 23:03:52 GMT 1, Strange yes, someone has just posted a mail under 'applause' saying that POW don't intend to sell anymore Banksy prints online because of what has happened. seemingly there were 200,000 virtual customers for 650 actual prints

Would it be strange if..., by andrewd on Nov 17, 2006 23:23:57 GMT 1, Looks like Banksy is going to have to park up a large lorry in Hoxton central, open the back of the lorry, don a disguise and sell the remainder of the prints on a first come first served basis. Either that or tape up all the prints up Leonard Street, send out an e-mail and wait for punters to drop their cash in an honesty box!! Steph and Co. please don't feel bad about this, it was gonna happen, hopefully people will post any sensible suggestions. It''s a bit ironic though that after putting a better system together ( after Grannies ) the perception of chaos is bigger. I can see why you don't want to do it online again.

I think they meant 200,000 hits. And 200,000 hits doesn't mean 200,000 customers - everybody must have tried refreshing, adding to basket, going to checkout only to see the print has mysteriously disappeared, go back to square 1, etc. dozens of times.
