This isn't realted to Banksy but thught someone might be able to help. I've just found out we're going to Copenhagen for the weekend and we need things to do - places to go etc.
Has anyone been recently and have any good tips? good restaurants and bars?
Anything would be gladly accepted!
Maybe I'll bring you back some bacon or something.

I don't know exactly when you'll be going but Friday night is the annual "culture night" which means that there will be a lot of things going on all over Copenhagen.
If you want to see something special while you're in town, you should go to the bar/cafรฉ in Ahlefeldtsgade called "Bankerรฅt". A friend of mine did the decorating there, and it's something you're not likely to see anywhere else... It's on the corner of Nansensgade and Ahlefeldtsgade (address is Ahlefeldtsgade 27-29).

the back streets of nรธrrebro has tonnes of cool wee basement shops and blรฅgรฅrds plads has loads of bars and stencil art. Take a cheap one hour canal tour, it's pretty good for orientation and not as cheesy as it sounds. visit christiania the ol' free town in the centre. stay away from the main shopping drag 'strรธget'. There are bikes that you can borrow for free within the city limits, pay a small deposit like a shopping trolley and you can use them.
drink bottled danish beer not pints as its so much cheaper ;D

A bit sore today though. Did lots of great things - took all comments on board. Went to the recomended bars and exhibitions though the DJ one wasn't too exciting. Stayed away from all the tourist hotspots (mostly) and had a laugh.
I passed through there on the way to Roskilde a few years ago but couldn't remember much of where to go.
Great city. Great locals. Needed a longer weekend!
