I've just spotted this on eBay... now I feel sick.... I spent that total alone on one print a month ago!

i have 2 eelus, hopefully a canvas eelus on the way and a dolk and eine and i love them all and they hang on my walls so i can admire them everyday, isnt that what art is for?

Walking through Brighton the other day I saw four Kate Moss's hanging in a row in a massive living room.... I gotta say they looked mighty impressive. I've never been a fan of this print but they looked awesome ;D
There's also someone down my street who has a Girl with red baloon hanging on their wall, how jealous am I everytime I walk home!!!

If I had discovered he even produced and sold prints(POW...you know what I mean) that I liked 2 months earlier than I did (i.e the date on this receipt) and found prints at these prices then I would have snapped them all up - I had a bunch of money then thats all gone - doesn't make me any less of a fan. But like you say there are other artists - and there in lies where my bunch of money went. Just bought my first D*Face today - only an airborne cavalry - but love it! And ยฃ36! marvelous.

It's good to hear that this is not a money making excersise & people are buying art other than banksy.
Don't get me wrong.i love alot of banksy's work & have for about 3 years now.I own 13 of his prints ranging from bomb hugger/churchill era upto girl with balloon & soupcan/cnd, Jack & Jill.
I purchased these prints because i liked them & they all hang on my walls.I did not get the toxic mary & grin reaper prints. They did not appeal to me even though they have big resale potential.
D*Face has some great work for sale as do Faile,Eine,Space invader & Lucy McLauchlin.
I own prints buy all the above artist's & love their work as much as i do Banksy's.
I suppose this post is saying buy because you like it & you can't go wrong.
Oh i nearly forgot a great quote from a great artist whose name escapes me at the moment.
THOUGH SHALL NOT WORSHIP FALSE ICONS!
