Signed prints anyone, by BlackRatPress on Jun 26, 2006 14:09:45 GMT 1, Thanks for that. People tend to imagine dealers wearing fur coats and ripping off starving artists. It's just another job..

Signed prints anyone, by BlackRatPress on Jun 26, 2006 15:46:19 GMT 1, The Million Dollar Question. A lot depends of how many more they produce and in what edition sizes. I am pretty confident the market is solid.

Signed prints anyone, by saucepan on Jun 26, 2006 19:21:38 GMT 1, In my opinion this is just the start. I think the prices now are going to look very attractive this time next year. Whilst most people are aware of Banksy not everyone realises that he produces prints / canvases. I think we will see an increased difference in value between the signed and unsigned prints. Currently un-signed prints seem to be selling about half of that of its signed counterpart. In the future I think the signed edition will sell for at least 4 times that of the un-signed edition.

Signed prints anyone, by monochrome on Jun 26, 2006 20:32:51 GMT 1, nah - the difference won't be that great - J&J have 350 of each (signed & unsigned) - one is not rarer than the other... double seems about right for now.

Signed prints anyone, by saucepan on Jun 26, 2006 22:10:20 GMT 1, yes, but the difference is that when the investor collector gets involved they aren't going to be bothered by un-signed prints. Their concern will only be with signed edition's and thus the demand for signed prints is going to be so much greater.
