Banksy vs. Katsu, by BK83 on Dec 30, 2009 17:58:55 GMT 1, I'm finding it hard to fully understand why everyone is up in arms about Banksy vs. Robbo - My sentiments are that Banksy absolutely brought new light to the Robbo piece which (let's all please be honest!) had been significantly gone over in it's 25 years, to the point of it being unrecognisable. I appreciate the history, but do we really need to hold a f**king candle vigil?!

Anyway, point of this post is that this is not the first time Banksy has done this. When he was in NYC I distinctly remember him going over a classic Katsu fire extinguisher piece. pictures below.

Complete with Banksy peace offering! Is that why everyone is mad, because Banksy did not extend the peace offering to Robbo?!

Regardless, I don't remember anyone being up in arms about this?! Katsu is a prolific NYC Writer, no, WORLDwide writer. Just as valid as Robbo IMO plus Katsu's s**t is ten times better!

Regardless, I am with the aluminum hat people on this one - Banksy and Robbo are in this thing together. This whole scheme has been cooked up for a good bit of PR. Thanks, Jo Brooks.
