"Hungarian Banksy" Hauled Before a Judge, by Daniel Silk on Oct 8, 2009 16:48:28 GMT 1, www.pestiside.hu/20091008/hungarian-banksy-hauled-before-a-judge/
"It would appear that not everyone is a fan of Hungary's Two-Tailed Dog Party (MKKP). The "political party", which is the brainchild of Gergő Kovács, and which once held a protest against nothing, was recently in court in for the destruction of political campaign posters. During the European parliamentary campaign earlier this year, Kovács modified several campaign posters, such as the Democratic Forum one featuring György Habsburg in the picture above, so that it instead featured Habsburg's great-great-granduncle Emperor Franz Joseph.
Kovács was fined Ft 30,000 for the destruction of campaign materials and an additional Ft 35,000 for the cost of the detective work. He will also have a criminal file opened on him, although his fingerprints were not taken, ostensibly because no one present could be bothered to get around to that. It goes without saying that we hope this brush with the law will not stop the Two-Tailed Dog Party, whose work is frequently the only bright spot in otherwise run-down parts of the city."
