Neate and Banksy, by ricosg11 on May 25, 2007 23:00:46 GMT 1, Hi Fellas,
I have a Neate nothing on tv and a sepia morons and one of the two has to go.
First question is if I like them equally appearance wise which is the one to keep for good(investment wise)?
Second as you may have guessed is that I have gone a little over board with my latest purchases and must let one go. Open to reasonable offers on both, but only one of the two will be sold. Pm for pics details ect...
Thanks, Rico

Neate and Banksy, by verbalkint on May 27, 2007 0:24:36 GMT 1, right.......
from an investment standpoint the obvious choice is the banksy, however, if Adams popularity continues to grow (and there is no reason to doubt that it will) there are only 100 nothing on TV prints, no unsinged 'cheaper' editions, no other way to own it apart from buying the signed print. Lets say that Adam becomes half as popular as banksy, then the NOTV print will be worth alot more than 'sepia', but of course there is always the possiblility that banksys poularity has no where near peaked yet. There is also the fact that most of the NOTV prints went to people who had bought originals from elms (people with money) and i know 5 people who have them personally who would never dream of selling them, so if i know 5 there must be alot more.
Its a tough decision to be sure. I would personally sell the sepia as you will get about a grand more for it and the scope for NOTV to increase is bigger, but that does depend on the neate buzz continuing. whatever you decide i hope it comes off.
Actually, I would keep both for at least 6 months when i can see them being worth £10k combined!
right.......

Neate and Banksy, by funster on May 28, 2007 13:48:37 GMT 1, Keep the Neate. I agree with Verbal and early editions off a popular artist are always hard to come by, especially when there were only 100 to start with. I'm not sure if Verbal included my NOTV in the 5, if not make that 6 people who'd never sell

Neate and Banksy, by verbalkint on May 28, 2007 15:41:51 GMT 1, just live on beans for a month and keep them both. they will look even better after a personal sacrifice like that!! I promise you that no matter which one you sell, it will be worth 3 times more in a year
