"We are very excited to announce that Write4Gold will return to the UK for 2009! It will all go down at the UK’s biggest and best free urban youth festival: HUB Festival at the Wellington Dock in Liverpool on May 23rd 2009 and May 24th 2009.
Follow up:
More than ten thousand people will attend this massive free festival that also features skating, breaking, scratching, rapping and much, much more. And that not all, not only is this the Write4Gold event for all UK teams, its also the Write4Gold for West Europe!
That means teams from France, Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg should also sign up for this one and come to Liverpool to compete! Its been a bumpy road for UK Teams in Write4Gold, only once before have there been a Write4Gold competition in the UK, in 2006 when it took place at Victoria Park in London. Back then the winner was Wordplay Crew from Cambridge who went on the European Finals at Splash Festival in Germany, only to be placed outside the top rankings. In 2008, a young London crew named RT travelled all the way to Munster, Germany to represent as the only team from the UK in the biggest Write4Gold of all time, the West Europe qualification 2008. RT placed in the top 2 of 28 teams and qaulified for the European Finals, and with a 2nd place on from there on to the World Final 2008 where they finished honourably, but out of the top 3. Who will win the 2009 competition and go on to the big finals at Splash Festival 2009?"

nice one gary. yesterday was brilliant but today's weather just made things that much better. live dancing, graff, music & skating? you couldn't ask for much more. i haven't uploaded today's photo's yet because roast dinner called so check back in a bit.
